Overview

IU photohunt is a search and find game. Two almost identical photos are displayed at the same time. The goal is to locate the differences between the two. Note: This Beta version of the game may not work on all browsers or operating systems.

Directions:

Search both images for 5 differences between the two; no more no less. Consider every aspect of the image. Colors may be different, objects may be moved, and parts may be omitted or added… Don’t stick to one part of the image. Once found, quickly click the mismatched area of either image to highlight it. You will progress to the next set of images if the 5 differences are found in time. BE AWARE, TIME IS THE ENEMY! Time ticks down faster for every incorrect part of the image clicked; so don’t just aimlessly click around! It also counts down faster the more image sets the player has completed.

Point Scores:

The player earns points in two ways. One way to receive points is by clicking a correct mismatch, which yields 200 points each correct answer. The other way is to beat the timer before it reaches zero. A full timer is worth 1000 points and it counts down from there as time progresses. The more time that passes, the less points a player will receive from the timer. Speed is key to a high score.

Hints:

At the start of each new game, the player is given 3 ‘hints’, which come in the form of magnifying glasses. By clicking on one of the magnifying glasses, one mismatch will be highlighted in the image set. Remember, Only 3 are given per game so use them sparingly.
