About NMAC

Alumni celebrate IU at Hoosier Village.

Welcome to the Neal-Marshall Alumni Club!

We are all about IU and you.

Connect with other African-American alumni, faculty, staff, and students who share your love for Indiana University. Help us boost IU pride, volunteerism, and engagement within the African-American community on all eight campuses.

Membership in the Neal-Marshall Alumni Club is open to all African-American IU alumni who wish to stay connected and desire to promote the awareness of the history, traditions, and legacy of African Americans at IU. We desire to be the foremost African-American alumni association in the nation: one that not only strengthens and unifies our community but makes a positive, indelible impact on the world.

About the Neal-Marshall Alumni Association

The Neal-Marshall Alumni Club was originally founded in 1980 to meet the needs of IU African-American alumni and to increase their participation in local and national IU alumni groups. The club is named for the first African-American male and female graduates of Indiana University: Marcellus Neal, BA 1895, and Frances Marshall, BA 1919.
