Mission Statement

The mission of the Central Carolina Chapter of the IU Alumni Association is to provide a link between IU alumni in our area, as well as friends of IU, the IUAA, and IU. We accomplish this by doing the following:

• Providing fellowship and social opportunities for alumni living in the central North Carolina area
• Offering programs that educate and inform alumni
• Promoting IU in the communities of central North Carolina
• Sponsoring community service projects
• Contributing to the quality and progress of IU and the IUAA
• Recruiting top students to attend IU
• Providing scholarships for students
• Building a base of volunteers to assist IU
• Encouraging paid membership to the IUAA and active participation in activities sponsored by the Central Carolina Chapter, the IU Alumni Association, and IU.
