Chuck Palmer
Chuck is originally from Columbus, Ohio, but one of his wisest decisions was to attend IU, where he graduated with an accounting degree. While at IU, Chuck kept busy with activities such as joining the IU Student Foundation, serving as academic and intramural chair for his fraternity, competing in intramural events (Chuck still proudly reminisces about his all-campus billiards championship), and enjoying a half-yard of Guinness at the Irish Lion.
Chuck moved to Chicago after graduating from IU. The last several years he has worked at Smith Barney as a financial consultant on a wealth management team. His Smith Barney team works primarily with families and foundations, helping them reach their financial goals by developing a financial plan and having that plan dictate how they would recommend their clients structure their investment portfolios. Prior to Smith Barney, Chuck spent eight years at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a CPA. Chuck enjoys traveling and meeting people, attending college sporting events and Cubs games, and partaking in much of what Chicago has to offer.
