The Chicago Chapter of the IU Alumni Association benefits its members, the university and the community by:

• Providing fellowship and social opportunities for alumni living in the Chicago area
• Offering programs that educate and inform alumni
• Promoting Indiana University in the Chicago area
• Contributing to the quality and progress of Indiana University and the Indiana University Alumni Association
• Recruiting top students to attend Indiana University
• Providing scholarships for students
• Sponsoring community service projects
• Building a base of volunteers to assist Indiana University
