Operation Dreamseed is a 501(c)(3) IRS Non-Profit Organization dedicated to fostering and facilitating the education of children in under-developed countries, starting with Afghanistan. IU Grad Seeking Internship in Security and Intelligence Fields

Jeremy Widenhofer is pursuing a Public and International Affairs Master’s Degree from the University of Pittsburgh with a major in Security and Intelligence Studies. The academic plan prepares students in the fields of terrorism, intelligence sharing/gathering, homeland security, homeland disaster preparation, transnational crime, and weapons of mass destruction.

An internship is required for the completion of the degree. Internships must meet the following parameters:

  • At least 300 hours of work
  • To be completed during summer 2008 or fall 2008
  • Paid or unpaid internship (for unpaid internships, Jeremy hopes to be provided a stipend to help cover temporary living arrangements).
  • Work responsibilities can be in a variety of fields, but Jeremy is primarily interested in working within the U.S. Intelligence Community (e.g., agencies within the U.S. Department of Defense, U.S. Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Department of Treasury, government contractors within this field).
  • Above all, Jeremy hopes to match a valuable internship experience that has the potential for full-time employment once he completes his degree in May 2009.
