Welcome!
In the name of Indiana University I would like to welcome you to the Hungary chapter of the Indiana University Alumni Association. The purpose of the chapter is to keep the extensive network of fellow Indiana University graduates, attendees, professors and exchange students connected to their alma mater. Through various events, communication, and services, the chapter wishes to build a lifetime relationship with Indiana University and enable the next generation of Hungarians to explore all that IU Bloomington has to offer.
2004 brought new beginnings for Hungary. As we entered the European Union, travel, work and international opportunities became more feasible for the next generation of Hungarian scholars. Indiana University Bloomington is an outstanding higher institution for anyone looking to explore overseas education. The chapter aims to not only create a network for Hungarian Indiana University Alumni, but to seek ways to enable others to experience the incredible best four years I had the opportunity to experience, with helpful professors, hands- on practical training, and a chance to truly learn to be independent.
