A House Divided, Now United
For the first time in our historic rivalry, the Central Indiana Chapter of the IU Alumni Association and the Purdue Alumni Association of Indianapolis are going head to head — racing to be the first chapter to raise $35,000 to help the Harp family of Indianapolis realize their dream of home ownership through Habitat for Humanity.
Tiwana Harp is a single mother of two: Jasmine (13) and Nimir (5). The family has been living in an overcrowded, unaffordable, two-bedroom apartment for several years and has worked very hard with Habitat to become eligible for a home of their own.
Help us put Purdue to shame! Go to House Divided Now United to make a donation to the build. Don’t forget, many corporations have donation matching programs — so be sure to tell your employer (and your friends and family too!). All donations are tax deductible.
