The Central Indiana Chapter of the IUAA benefits its members, the university, and the community by:

• Providing fellowship and social opportunities for alumni living in the Indianapolis area.
• Offering programs that educate and inform alumni.
• Promoting Indiana University in the Indianapolis area.
• Contributing to the quality and progress of Indiana University and the Indiana University Alumni Association.
• Recruiting top students to attend Indiana University.
• Providing scholarships for students.
• Sponsoring community service projects.
• Building a base of volunteers to assist Indiana University.
