Why are you involved with your local chapter? The university has provided me so much in the way of education and life experiences that I wanted to find a way to give back. By being a member of the Central Indiana Chapter of the IUAA, I have been able to do just that. My family enjoys the regular trips back to Bloomington for university events and I have no doubt that we will stay involved in some way for as long as we are able to say ‘Go IU!’

Why are you involved with your local chapter? I wanted to become involved with the IUAA after talking with IU alumni who are involved in their local communities. With the huge number of IU alumni, it made sense to get involved in a way that gives back to Indiana University. I wanted to stay connected to not only IU, but to people that relate to me. Also, as a young alumnus, it’s absolutely beneficial to build and maintain relationships.

Why are you involved with your local chapter? As a student at IU, I found there are many opportunities to have a significant impact in not only the university system, but in the community as well. Central Indiana has the highest concentration of IU alumni, which provides an opportunity to expand the strength of our great university. World-class universities are created and sustained by the impact of their alumni. It is my hope to assist in the connection of our alumni and our university in the effort to continually expand the strength of IU.

Why are you involved with your local chapter? I have been a lifelong Hoosier and I was fortunate enough to spend five great years at IU. Now that my time in Bloomington has come to an end, IUAA provides me with a great outlet to stay involved with IU as well as fellow IU grads. It never ceases to amaze me at how far I can get away from campus and still find someone who graduated from IU. We have such an expansive network of talented individuals and I am genuinely interested in connecting with as many of them as I possibly can..
