2008 Scholarship Award Recipients
The Johnson County Chapter of the IUAA would like to recognize and congratulate the following 2008 scholarship award recipients:

Children’s book drive
For the third year, we will be collecting new or gently-used children’s books at all events sponsored by the Johnson County Chapter of the IUAA!
In 2007-08, our chapter collected 256 books, which were donated to the first grade class at Northwood Elementary School in May of 2008. Each child was allowed to take a book home and the rest were placed into the school library. We appreciate the generosity of our alumni chapter members, families, and friends for their donations and we are kindly asking for your help again!
Please help us by donating books at our events and watch our Web site for future events where you can help us make a difference in the local community. If you have books to donate, but cannot attend a scheduled event, please contact Bev Ernest.
The Johnson County Chapter of the IUAA strives to:
- Provide fellowship and social opportunities for alumni living in Johnson County and surrounding communities.
- Offer programs that educate and inform IU alumni.
- Promote Indiana University in our community.
- Sponsor community service projects.
- Contribute to the quality and progress of Indiana University and the Indiana University Alumni Association.
- Recruit top students to attend Indiana University.
- Provide scholarships for students.
- Build a base of volunteers to assist Indiana University.
