Imagine Reading More …

Imagination Station is partnering with the Johnson County Chapter to encourage reading in our community by contributing to our annual book drive. But we need you to make this program a success! Imagination Station is located on the square in Franklin, Ind. Beginning Oct. 9, 2009 and continuing until further notice, you can help our book drive and encourage reading in three different ways:

1. Purchase a book at Imagination Station to donate to our book drive.
2. Bring in a used book suitable for kindergartners through fifth graders and Imagination Station will offer a 20 percent discount on a book purchased in their store.
3. If you purchase two books, Imagination Station will donate one of equal or lesser value to the book drive.

The Johnson County Chapter of the IUAA has a new way to keep in touch with our alumni. We are now on Facebook! We are still developing our Facebook pages, but please log into your account today and add "Johnson County IU Alumni" to your network. As we add events to the calendar, you will be the first to know! The Johnson County Chapter of the IUAA strives to:

• Provide fellowship and social opportunities for alumni living in Johnson County and surrounding communities.
• Offer programs that educate and inform IU alumni.
• Promote Indiana University in our community.
• Sponsor community service projects.
• Contribute to the quality and progress of Indiana University and the Indiana University Alumni Association.
• Recruit top students to attend Indiana University.
• Provide scholarships for students.
• Build a base of volunteers to assist Indiana University.
