A Note from the President

For 60 years, the Johnson County Alumni Chapter of the Indiana University Alumni Association has awarded $500 scholarships to graduating Johnson County high school seniors matriculating to the campuses of Indiana University. You are invited to submit the attached application and supporting material as requested in order to be considered. You must be in the top half of your class.

This year our chapter is in a position to give three $500 scholarships to Johnson County seniors. An experienced selection committee will choose the winners of these scholarships. Scholarship, accomplishments, talents, financial need, service to your community, and the likelihood of finishing work toward a degree are the prime factors to be considered by this committee.

The $500 scholarships are held on deposit at the Indiana University Foundation and will be automatically deducted from the successful applicant's fall and spring semester registration fees — $250 per semester.
