Welcome!
Kosciusko County is located in northeast Indiana between Fort Wayne and South Bend. Warsaw and Syracuse are the largest cities and Lake Wawasee, the largest natural lake in the state, is located in our county. The chapter was honored by the IUAA as a Most Improved Club in 2000 and Club of the Year in the Stahr Division in 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, & 2006. We also received a Student Recruitment Recognition Award for 2003.
Would you like to be a part of our chapter? Just contact an officer to let us know.
Mission Statement
The mission of the Kosciusko County Chapter of the IU Alumni Association is to provide a link between the IU alumni in our area, friends of IU, the IU Alumni Association, and Indiana University. We will accomplish this by doing the following:
- Providing fellowship and social opportunities
- Promoting Indiana University and the IU Alumni Association
- Raising scholarship funds for IU students
- Increasing paid members in the IUAA
While doing the above, we will have fun, meet new friends, and build a base of volunteers to serve our chapter.
Raising Scholarship Funds
Our sponsors and events help us to raise money that we distribute in scholarships. All scholarship money is given to students from Kosciusko County who will be attending Indiana University.
Community Service
Each year we donate funds to a deserving local charity. Several of our events include food drives. All canned goods are donated to the Combined Community Services. In December, we participate in bell-ringing for the Salvation Army. We are always willing to serve our community and spread the IU spirit.
