Please welcome Brian Shepherd as the newly-elected president of the Monroe County Chapter of the Indiana University Alumni Association’s board of directors. Find out more about Shepherd and the other new officers >>
A hearty congratulations goes out to Mike Mann who was awarded the IUAA’s President’s Award at this year’s Chapter Leader’s Conference Awards banquet on June 19. We look forwarded to his continued dedication to our chapter in his role as past president on our board of directors.
Congratulations also go out to everyone who helped the chapter with its programs and events during the past year. The chapter was awarded with the Circle of Excellence award in June 2009. More information about this award and previous chapter awards >>

The 2009/10 Discount Card is available now for just $10. It’s your passport to yearlong savings at many Bloomington stores and restaurants. Sales of the card benefit the chapter’s scholarship endowment and the Student Alumni Association.

2009 MCIUAA Scholarship Winners Announced!

The Monroe County Chapter of the IU Alumni Association is committed to creating opportunities for local alumni and friends of the university to reconnect with IU. In addition to social activities, we have a unique opportunity to help shape the future of the university’s community relations. Our activities include, but are not limited to:
- Promoting the university and recruiting students
- Sponsoring community and campus service projects
- Offering continuing education opportunities
- Hosting social functions for alumni living in and around Monroe County
- Providing alumni with local member benefits at area retailers
- Serving as a resource for information about campus-based activities
