Favorite Hangout as an IU Student:
As a student, once of appropriate age, I enjoyed going to Nick’s to watch basketball and eat a strom or tenderloin. For late night fun on a Thursday, ours was at the Bluebird for some rock-n-roll! These days we still like to hit Nick’s, or head down the hill to the Crazy Horse.

What do you enjoy most about living in a college town?
My wife and I really enjoy the vitality that IU students bring to town during the cold and dreary winter months of the Midwest. Also, the variety of entertainment, be it IU sports, professional concerts or plays at the IU Auditorium, or the many variety of festivals in the summer months. Having said that, we also really like our "quiet summers" here in B-Town!

What dorm did you live in on campus?
I was in Aston – Monk House on a partial academic scholarship. In exchange for greatly reduced room & board fees, we took care of all the dorm cleaning, including the community bathrooms & showers! We had quite the variety of students, regardless of whether you talk about their personalities, brain power or cleaning ability!

What is your fondest memory of your years as an IU student?
I loved the entire college experience, to the point that I came back for a Master’s because I wanted more of it! As far as specific memories, it would have to be IU men’s basketball. I graduated in Dec. 1986, so I claim partial credit to being here during the 1987 National Championship! These days, I'm still passionate about IU sports, whether it be football, basketball, or soccer. I also appreciate the effort and competition of women’s basketball and volleyball. GO HOOSIERS !!!
