What do you enjoy most about living in a college town?
My entire family are Hoosier fans, none bigger than my son who lives and breathes the basketball and football teams. I referee Indiana high school basketball and also work the IU practices (including Midnight Madness) and my son gets to go along sometimes so he thinks he’s a big deal. Bloomington is a great family place, with lots of diversity, and cultural experience opportunities (ethnic food, plays, music, sports, etc). I like raising kids in that type of environment. Moving back to Bloomington has also given my wife – who has traveled the globe with me in support of my prior career – an opportunity to finish her undergrad degree in accounting. And of course, now being out of the “real world” and teaching, I have my summers off. Doesn’t get better than that!

Where did you live?
Lived in an apartment off of North Walnut and 17th street.

What is your fondest memory of your years as an IU student?
Probably the people that I met. I’m still in contact with a number of my 1991 MBA classmates. Although I have to admit, I did enjoy Bobby Knight’s address to the students each year.
