What do you enjoy most about living in a college town?
Boyd: The wonderful music, art, and theater coupled with the diversity of the active community members.
Sally: The endless things to do: sports, theater, concerts, operas, and ballet.

Where did you live?
Boyd: I lived in my childhood home until we married, then off to California and Hawaii with the military before Indianapolis for graduate school.
Sally: First in Harper Hall in Foster Quad. Then in an apartment with my sister Judy (Wade) Finkel.

What is your fondest memory of your years as an IU student?
Boyd: The double blind date where I met Sally (who was with the other guy) is tied with the ninth of May, 1970, when she made me the happiest man in the world by saying "I do."
Sally: When I saw this great-looking guy and thought to myself "I hope that’s my blind date!" Well, he wasn’t, but we went to the same party and spent the whole evening talking. A few days later he called and asked me out. We’ve been together ever since.
