Favorite hangout as an IU student:
My favorite hangout while at IU was definitely Yogi’s, though I did hit all the major hot-spots pretty frequently. But, I’m sorry to say that I did spend several Friday nights at Legends. Oh, the shame!
What do you enjoy most about living in a college town?
Where to start? Bloomington has an amazing energy and vibrancy. There is so much to see and experience; musical, artistic, recreational, athletic, and intellectual events and resources abound. The diversity of this city, in every aspect, is outstanding. I don’t know if all college towns are like this, but Bloomington certainly is an incredible place.
Where did you live?
Being a “townie,” I never lived on campus. I lived at home one year, then moved to Colonial Crest apartments, then a couple of quaint rental houses. All were good learning experiences, but I’m glad to have my own house now.
What is your fondest memory of your years as an IU student?
IU playing in the NCAA men’s basketball finals. Actually, it was more the celebration and camaraderie after we won against Oklahoma in the Final Four. What a night!
