Most enjoyable aspects of living in a college town:
The great variety of things to do in Bloomington. Great sporting events during the academic year from football to soccer to basketball. Great ethnic restaurants, music events, Broadway productions, and other cultural arts events. Plus, during the summer, Lake Monroe and several golf courses within driving distance.
Fondest memory of IU as a student:
Both of my years in graduate school we were off work during the first round of the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament. My close group of friends went out and watched basketball, shot pool, and just hung out all day long. That and I also met my wife, Emily, in our graduate program.
Where did you live?
I worked in the Residence Halls in Ashton Center. I lived in Mason Hall my first year and in the Barnes Apartment my second year.
