Sponsor Spotlight: May 2006

Mark Lemieux

Occupation:
Arby's Restaurants/Huse Incorporated

How long have you been in business in Bloomington?
Since 1967.

Describe your business and the services or products you offer.
We are a restaurant management and development company. At present, we are more a franchisee than a franchisor. We operate 30 Arby's restaurants throughout Indiana and Illinois, four of which are in the Bloomington area.

What do you like most about living and having a business in Bloomington/Monroe County?
Bloomington/Monroe County attracts a diverse and strong applicant pool. The diversity strengthens our relationships with all segments of the consumer market.

Are you an IU grad? If so, when did you graduate? Degree?
Several of Huse Incorporated's employees are either IU grads, currently enrolled at IU or completing preparation courses before returning to school. Stephen Huse, our founder, graduated from the Indiana University School of Business in 1965.

Fondest IU memory?
The entry onto the field of the Marching 100 before every IU-Purdue football game.

Why did you choose to be a Corporate Sponsor of the Monroe County Chapter of the IUAA?
Members of the Monroe County Chapter of the IUAA are active in a wide range of community events that better Bloomington/Monroe County and IU. By sponsoring the Chapter, we are aligning our business in support of the Chapter's activities. We believe by supporting the people that support us directly, through their patronage, and indirectly, through their efforts to make Bloomington/Monroe County a great place to live, we will also benefit.
