We place a special emphasis on supporting current students through alumni efforts, awarding scholarships to IU students from the San Antonio area. Our Indiana Day events over the past few years have enabled us to continue this tradition. We are so excited to see local alumni help San Antonio young adults experience an IU education by helping defray the cost of out-of-state tuition.
We have also continue to support IU’s student-recruiting efforts by attending local college fairs and answering questions for prospective applicants and their parents.
Of course, an IU alumni chapter wouldn’t be the same without athletics. Therefore, we hold numerous basketball and football TV parties throughout the year at Indigo Joe’s and Fox and Hound.
We continue to have an active and dedicated Board of Directors and there are many other opportunities for you to get involved. We have a terrific calendar of events planned for our fellow Hoosiers, as well as great events with other Big Ten alumni. Please let us know if you are interested in helping the chapter in the coming year. It's a fun and easy way to serve the university and show your Hoosier pride in the Lone Star State!
