IUAA members receive one free career counseling appointment each year as a member benefit. Work with our career counselor in person, by phone, or via Skype. To arrange for your session, call (800) 824-3044 and ask for Career Services, or email us.
Your free, 50-minute coaching session as an IUAA member could include:
- Résumé critique
- Cover-letter critique
- Networking strategy
- Mock interview

Or, if you’d like more in-depth help, consider our Career Exploration Package for $150. This series of four, 50-minute sessions is available to IUAA members after your initial free session. Prior to your first session, you’ll take the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and the Strong Interest Inventory online.
- Session 1: We’ll go over your Strong Interest Inventory results and explore careers based upon your results.
- Session 2: We’ll go over your Myers-Briggs Type Indicator results, add to your list of possible careers, and offer tools to help you determine your values and skills.
- Session 3: We’ll discuss themes from a visual profile of your values, interests, personality, skills, and share thoughts to further hone your list of possible careers.
- Session 4: We’ll discuss your honed career list and develop a career-choice strategy.
You can also choose a single counseling appointment for $40.
