The IU Alumni Association organizes or participates in several of Indiana University’s largest events, from Commencement ceremonies to the old-fashioned fun of Homecoming. The IUAA also coordinates awards programs, exciting travel and lifelong learning opportunities, community service events, reunions, and many other activities. Check the events calendar for upcoming events.

Alumni Student Recruiters
This program sends well-trained, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic alumni to their local college fairs and preview nights to help prospective IU students make more-informed decisions about their futures.

Athletic Events & Offers
IU sports fans can learn about IUAA-sponsored pre-game events and ticket offers here.

Blood Donor Challenge
The Blood Donor Challenge encourages Indiana residents to donate blood. During the challenge, participants may visit a local blood agency and donate blood in the name of IU.

Claude Rich Open
For 20 years, the Claude Rich Open in Southwest Florida was the foremost Indiana University dinner, concert, program, and golf outing event of the winter season.

Commencement
In conjunction with the Office of University Ceremonies, the IU Alumni Association oversees Commencement planning and activities on all eight IU campuses.

Cream & Crimson Alumni Weekend
All IU alumni are invited to attend Cream & Crimson Alumni Weekend, held each June on the Bloomington campus. Highlights include a dinner honoring Distinguished Alumni Service Award recipients, as well as inductees into the Emeritus Club.

Founders Day
Founders Day is a reminder of the university’s impressive history and an opportunity to honor outstanding students and faculty members. The IUAA works with the Office of University Ceremonies to plan and prepare for Founders Day festivities, held each spring in Bloomington.

Golf Outings
The IUAA’s alumni chapters sponsor golf outings at locations around the country. Many of these events fund scholarships for IU students.

Homecoming
Homecoming week brings alumni together to reminisce and rekindle their IU memories. Themes vary by campus, and events include parades, pep rallies, student activities, class reunions, and Homecoming luncheons.

Mini University
Hundreds of lifelong learners gather at IU Bloomington each June for this nationally recognized learning vacation. Mini University is co-sponsored by the IUAA and Bloomington Continuing Studies.

Reunions
Reunions and special celebrations take place on all campuses to mark graduation anniversaries and milestones of various schools, departments, and affiliate groups.

Travel
Hoosier Travelers, the IUAA’s travel program, offers opportunities to see and learn about the world with IU alumni. Each year hundreds of alumni and friends go on tours to popular and exciting destinations worldwide.
