2008 Men’s NCAA Tournament Big Red Warm-up & Pep Rally
Friday, March 21

Gather with IU fans before the Hoosiers take on their opponents during the NCAA Tournament! Big Red Warm-ups will feature the IU Big Red Basketball Pep Band and cheerleaders. Get fired up for a Hoosier victory while enjoying a great atmosphere with the rest of the Hoosier Nation!
If the Hoosiers win Friday and advance to play on Sunday, March 23, the IUAA will again host a Big Red Warm-up prior to the game that day. The Warm-up will occur at the Embassy Suites Raleigh – Crabtree starting at noon. Indiana will play their second round game that day at either 2:40 p.m. or 5:15 p.m. Check local media to confirm game time as television coverage may dictate a different start time.

Special NCAA Tournament Basketball Game-Watches
Friday, March 21 & Sunday, March 23
Attention all IU alumni and fans in the Triangle and beyond. Come out and watch the Hoosiers take on the Razorbacks of Arkansas at 9:40 p.m. ET on Friday night, March 21!
The Central Carolina Chapter of the IUAA will host a special NCAA late night game-watch party starting at 7 p.m. at Blinco’s Restaurant, 6711 Glenwood Ave., in Raleigh.
Come early and watch the UNC Tarheels battle Mount St. Mary’s to set up a potential second-round NCAA Tournament match-up with our beloved Hoosiers on Sunday, March 23.
Seating is limited at Blinco’s so be sure to get your seat early for the IU Friday night game.
If the Hoosiers prevail against Arkansas on Friday, the alumni chapter will sponsor another game-watch on Sunday, March 23, as IU takes on the winner of the UNC game in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

Potential Alumni Tour to Charlotte
If the Hoosiers advance in the first/second rounds in Raleigh, they’ll move on to the East Regional in Charlotte on March 27. The IUAA, in conjunction with IU Athletics and Anthony Travel, will then host an alumni tour to the East Regional. The tour will include hotel accommodations, transfers between the hotel and arena, and admission to Big Red Warm-ups prior to all IU games. Additional information will be posted here as the tournament plays out.

For the third consecutive year, the IU women’s basketball team will play in the post-season as they begin WNIT play this Saturday, March 22! Join us for a special Big Red Warm-Up before the game!

The IUAA, in conjunction with IU Athletics, IU Varsity Club, and the Monroe County Chapter of the IUAA will host a Big Red Warm-up prior to the IU game at Assembly Hall, on Saturday, March 22.
The Big Red Warm-up will occur at the Virgil T. DeVault Alumni Center, 1000 E. 17th Street (directly across from Assembly Hall) starting at 5 p.m.Join fellow IU fans at the Warm-up and get fired up for a Hoosier victory in the WNIT!
Food and beverage will be available.The IU Big Red Basketball Pep Band and cheerleaders will stop by as well as other IU representatives.For planning purposes, please make a reservation for the event by contacting Aimee Hansellat the IUAA by e-mailing ahansell@indiana.edu or calling (800) 824-3044.

Game tickets are available through the Indiana Athletics Ticket Office by calling (866) IUSPORTS.Also fans can purchase tickets at the Indiana Athletics Ticket Office in Assembly Hall from 8 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. weekdays, or at the box-office on game day.All seats are general admission.No reserved seats available.Tickets cost $6 for adults, $4 for youth (18 and under) and IU students.
