Begin this small group trip (limited to 28 guests) in Istanbul with its many treasures: the legendary Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palance, and the sixth century Hagia Sofia. Then travel south to explore the World War I battlefield of Gallipoli, the ruins of ancient Troy, the Greco-Roman ruins at Pergamum, and spectacular Ephesus -- the world’s best-preserved classical city. In Göcek you will board a traditional gullet yacht, equipped with individual cabins and baths, to cruise the coastline Antony is said to have given Cleopatra as a wedding gift. The trip concludes with three nights in the seaside resort of Antalya. There is also an optional five-day, four-night extension to Cappadocia and Ankara.
