"I met my partner, Gina, in a Latin reading group during my first year here, so I’ve always felt like I came to the right place. My fellow graduate students in religious studies have been great friends, too. Bloomington is a fantastic town, to be sure, but for me it’s about the people.
Advice for GLBT students
"You are not alone, and you’re fabulous just the way you are. If those around you don’t agree, it’s time to move on.
Why the GLBTAA is important to me
"Having IU be a welcoming and comfortable place to be queer made a huge difference in my experience as a student, and I want to safeguard that environment for students to come!"
