Planning a move? Need a rental car? Looking to upgrade your computer? You can find savings and special offers here. The IUAA partners to provide discounts to all IU alumni on rental cars, moving services, and computer products. Here’s how to take advantage of these offers.
Car rentals
IU alumni are eligible for discounts on rental cars with Avis. For information, call 800-831-8000 and mention Avis Worldwide Discount Code #B183100 to receive your special discount.
Moving services

Technology discounts
Through our partnership with IU’s University Information Technology Services, you can take advantage of discounts on products from Dell, Sony, HP, and more.
- Dell: Visit the Indiana University Alumni Dell page, and save up to 30 percent or more on several different computer systems.
- Sony: Receive a 10 percent discount on personal purchases of Sony customer products via Sony Style. You'll need to create a new Sony Style account using IU's PIN, EPP_IU_29 (case sensitive). Already have a Sony Style account? E-mail addresses can be registered only once to the Sony Style site, so you may also need an alternative e-mail for your new account. Once you’ve set up your account, enter your pin and start shopping, following the directions on the Sony Style site. Your 10-percent discount will appear at checkout.
- HP: HP has teamed up with IU and the IUAA to offer you the opportunity to purchase HP and Compaq consumer products at discounted prices. Choose to shop securely online, or call HP toll-free at 1-866-433-2018. For online purchases, sign in with your name, e-mail address, a passcode of your choice, and enter your school PIN Code: BN115. If you order by phone, identify yourself as an IU alum and provide your school PIN Code: BN1152.
- Identity Finder Software: Get a free license for Identity Finder Home Edition software, a data leakage prevention product. Identity Finder locates private data that can be used to commit identity fraud. To take advantage of this deal, you must have an active IUAA e-mail account. Identity Finder will verify your e-mail address and send a link to your free software license at your @alumni.iu.edu or @alumni.iupui.edu address. On the order form you must select “Faculty/Staff” as your status to be eligible for the discount. Create or manage your IUAA e-mail account.
