Latino Alumni Weekend Slated for October 2008
This fall, get ready for the "reunion of all reunions" at the 2008 Latino Alumni Weekend at the IU Bloomington campus. It’s slated to be the biggest IU Latino alumni reunion yet! The event begins with the annual meeting and a host of other formal and informal workshops and activities. Also, the Distinguished Alumni Award and several undergraduate scholarships will be awarded. A sporting event and La Casa’s 35th anniversary will also be part of the weekend.
SPREAD THE WORD AND SAVE THE DATES: Friday Oct. 3 through Sunday Oct. 5, 2008.

Undergraduate Scholarship Deadline Looming
Attention IU undergraduates: There is little time left to submit your undergraduate scholarship application online. Applications are due by Aug. 1, 2008. Submit your scholarship online. The Latino Alumni Association has nearly $3,000 to give away! Winners will be honored at the October 2008 Latino Alumni Weekend at the IU Bloomington campus.

Join or renew your membership with the IU Latino Alumni Association. Remember, when joining or renewing online, you MUST add "Latino Alumni Association" in the comments box of the online form. With over 500 paid members, we are poised to do great work, but we need your help and commitment to join and/or keep your dues paid. We’re glad you are part of the alumni family!
