Vanessa Eva Montalvo, BGS’07
Vanessa Eva Montalvo got her bachelor’s degree in general studies in May 2007. She attended IU Bloomington for three years and finished her degree at IPFW. While at the Bloomington campus, she was the president of the Multicultural Greek Council, secretary and member of Gamma Phi Omega, member of LUIU and vice president for a two- semester term of the Spanish speaking club IDIOMA.
Montalvo would like to see more unity in the Latino community. She believes that our culture emulates all colors, shapes, and sizes, and all interests and abilities. With more unity; we are able to get to positive and successful places faster.
Currently, Montalvo works for Sweetwater Sound as an assistant service coordinator for the Sweetwater service administration. She works with vendors and customers from musicians, major bands and producers, down to the customer that may play an instrument at their leisure on any and all music and sound equipment.
