Band Director Zachary Cogdill

David Walter Banks, The New York Times

As reported on page 63 of the May/June 2009 issue of the Indiana Alumni Magazine, Zachary Cogdill, MSE’01, took a struggling high-school marching band and transformed it into a group that earned a spot in the Inauguration Day parade. Two New York Times-produced slideshows document the pre-Inauguration Day experiences of the South Cobb High School marching band.
