Monthly Membership Report, Vol. 4, No. 9

This message is being sent to IUAA staff, Executive Council members, chapter and affiliate group leaders, school and campus alumni directors, and SAA leaders, as a monthly resource for membership recruitment and retention.

"Opt-in free membership" campaign kicks off

Beginning with the December 2007 graduating class and going forward, all new graduates earning additional IU degree(s) are eligible to receive an additional one-year complimentary membership in the IUAA on an opt-in basis. December 2007 graduates are being sent a series of communications informing them of this offer. They may choose to opt-in via mail, e-mail, phone, or online.

If a graduate is already a paid member, the IUAA will extend their membership for one year free of charge.

"Recent graduate life" campaign update

More than 400 recent graduates to date have joined the IUAA as life members, since the new discounted recent graduate life member rates were introduced in January 2008.
