"While at IU, I took classes through SPEA that focused on the non-profit sector. This has worked out to be very helpful as my wife and I have made our home in Richmond. To promote our business, we are very active with several local agencies. Those classes assisted me with working closely with the managers of each agency, as well as with marketing campaigns. It has also been very beneficial with my work in several sectors of local government."

"I appreciate the work that our local IU alumni chapter does with reaching out to high- school students and welcoming them into the IU family. Each year, the chapter hosts a variety of events, one being a dinner in our restaurant’s IU Room, where the students are congratulated on their decision to attend IU."
