The Indiana Daily Student and internships earned through the journalism school gave me my first professional journalism experience and, yes, more lifelong friends. I cherish the weekends in the fall and spring when I return to Bloomington for the School of Journalism Alumni Board meetings and the chance to contribute to the IU experience for current students."
