Create an IU Network ID
IU graduates, former students, and current and former members of the IU Alumni Association are eligible to create an IU Network ID.
New user
To register for your new IU Network ID we will need your last name, date of birth, and university ID number. Follow these steps:
- Find your university ID number
NOTE: If this lookup is not successful, please call the IU Alumni Association at (812) 855-4822 or (800) 824-3044 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday-Friday and ask for the Records Department. After regular business hours you may e-mail iuaarec@indiana.edu for a response the next business day.
- Then create your new IU Network ID. This process will take about 15 minutes of your time.
NOTE: If you have trouble at this stage, please call University Information Technology Services at (812) 855-6789.
Forgotten passwords
If you have already created an IU Network ID, but can’t remember your passphrase, go to Passphrase Maintenance and follow the instructions to reset your passphrase.
