Indiana Alumni Magazine receives award

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — The Indiana Alumni Magazine and its art director, Char Dapena, received the University & College Designers Association Award of Excellence at the organization's September meeting in Austin, Texas. Dapena attended the conference and brought back the award. The magazine was recognized for an editorial spread titled “Gathering No Moss,” featuring excerpts from a book by IU alumnus Anthony DeCurtis, that appeared in the September/October 2005 issue.
The Indiana Alumni Magazine is the flagship publication of the Indiana University Alumni Association. Published bimonthly, the magazine includes feature articles, university and IUAA news, profiles of IU alumni and newsmakers, class notes about developments in alumni’s lives, updates on IU athletics, and more.
