Monroe County alumni chapter assists at IU's Commencement ceremonies

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — Members of the Monroe County Chapter of the Indiana University Alumni Association volunteered as ushers at IU’s Commencement ceremonies on May 5 at Assembly Hall.

More than 5,100 graduating students participated in the ceremonies, which were held at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Chapter members helped direct graduates to their seats and kept the procession moving smoothly so that the ceremonies could start on time.
