Welcome to Special Events!

We organize two exciting events on the IU campus, and it is so easy for you to get involved!

Homecoming, held every fall, is the first event, and we plan fun activities such as the biggest cornhole tournament on campus, Yell Like Hell, and the parade. We are always looking for more new, creative, and exciting activities — we could use your ideas!

Senior Salute, in April, is the second big event, held as a fun way to say goodbye to our beloved seniors. This event features lots of food, live music, and tons of prizes. This is a great opportunity for you to get involved, and if you are into event planning, Senior Salute is the event for you!

Special Events is also involved in planning other fun events such as the football Big Red Warm-ups in the fall. No matter what you are interested in, there are plenty of opportunities to get involved with SAA, and if nothing else, you can make friends while you’re here!
