University Relations
Welcome to University Relations!
C’mon and be a part of the Student Alumni Association. We welcome you to try out the many different options here and be a part of the areas you like best. All areas collaborate with each other, so whatever you do will be exposed to every area of SAA.
The University Relations team develops campus and alumni partnerships and programs – we collaborate across campus to work with other organizations and with the university to better the IU experience. Our area coordinates hosting of alumni happenings and official university occasions, including receptions, award banquets, and tailgates. We also serve as the liaison to the local Monroe County Alumni Chapter – an incredibly active and friendly group right here in Bloomington.
One great example of something we work on is "Dinner with 12 Hoosiers", an exciting new series of dinners where alumni and faculty welcome students to a hot meal and provide a chance to make new connections within the IU family.
