A cappella groups hit all the right notes.
If you’re a vocally gifted student, or just enjoy music, you’re invited to get involved with IU Bloomington’s two a cappella singing groups: Straight No Chaser and Ladies First.
Another Round
From classic hits to original songs, you will love Another Round (formerly IU's Straight No Chaser). The IU Alumni Association has sponsored this men’s group since its founding in 1996. Another Round performs at universities and auditoriums all across the nation. In addition to alumni shows and private performances, the group packs the house at two annual shows: the Winter Concert at the Buskirk-Chumley Theater and the Spring Concert at the Indiana University Auditorium.
Ladies First
Ladies First performs a mix of today's hits to classic songs. The IU Alumni Association also sponsors this women’s group, which performs for the IU family across the country and at IUAA events.
